R programmer new to RHadoop...good introduction required

Good afternoon,

I am an R programmer (around 13 years), but I am relatively new to Hadoop. I would like to run R on AWS with HDFS, but would like to run an association-analysis, using something like the apriori algorithm. Where would be a good place to start my journey? As some background, I recently completed an MSc in data science, with an associated module in programming in MapReduce, so I have a vague idea of the underlying principles involved.
