I just got to know the library today and I am trying to convert a point from Gauss-Kruger (zone 3) to WGS84. However I am not getting the results I am expecting, so I would be grateful if you could check my sample code under
https://gist.github.com/anonymous/04ec2b5cf5a5d582806eAccording to
http://cs2cs.mygeodata.eu/ the resulting coordinates in WGS84 should be (8.39769130042;49.0114556596), instead I am getting (10.26299999980256, 90.0) with my code.
The proj4 of the source coordinate system is
+proj=tmerc +lat_0=0 +lon_0=9 +k=1.000000 +x_0=3500000 +y_0=0 +ellps=bessel +datum=potsdam +units=m +no_defs
so that should not be the issue.
Also: I read in some ancient blog post from three years ago that
