GRAB YOUR SPEAKING SLOT
Now is the time to put your name in for one of the FiveInFive slots we have on Friday and Saturday. Remember, everyone talks at RESTFest so get your name into your preferred slot ASAP. If you don't put your name in, we'll do it for you!

EVERYBODY TALKS
Just a reminder to the newbies - at RESTFest *everyone* talks. You need to do at least one FiveInFive presentation during the weekend. If this is a new thing for you, don't sweat it. Here's a handy rookie guide to preparing your FiveInFive talk:

Plan on five slides, one minute per slide
- Slide #1: Title & Author : Introduce yourself your topic
- Slide #2: What it Is: Explain your idea/problem/observation 
- Slide #3: What is should/can be : Tell us your solution/proposal
- Slide #4: Doubts/Comments : Tell us anything else that you can think of on this topic
- Slide #5: Summary and Close : Wrap it up and send us home

EXTENDED TALKS
We have slots for up to six extended talks (30-45 mins) this year. We have five proposals (from the People Pages) so there is at least one possible slot open, maybe more. Forgot to add it? do it now. We'll make a final decision by tomorrow.

PROFILES
We've got 54 registrations and 26 profile entries (https://github.com/RESTFest/2014-Greenville/wiki/People) C'mon folks, create your People Page entry and let us know who you are. This is a way for everyone to get a head start on learning who is coming to Greenville this year, don't miss out.

WE SHARE AT RESTFEST
We like to share as much as possible at RESTFest. We'll be video taping all the presentations and posting them online. We ask that you post your slides online while at RESTFest, too. And I'd be really cool if you posted any notes/comments, etc you take during the day in the RESTFEst wiki. This is a way for us to share our experiences w/ those who couldn't make it this year.

THURSDAY NIGHT GET /GREENVILLE
We're doing something different on Thursday night this year. We're going to "walk the downtown" and enjoy the nightlife of Greenville. If you've not done this before, you'll be pleasantly surprised how much is going on in this great city. Join us!

SEAN CRIBBS FRIDAY NIGHT KEYNOTE
We're really happy that Basho's Sean Cribbs has agreed to deliver the keynote on Friday night. It promises to be a great talk so be sure to be there.

FRIDAY GAME NIGHT
Friday night is Game Night. Bring your games of all kinds and let's have some fun. You can hack, too <g>.

SATURDAY PARKING CHALLENGES
You thought it was tough to get a *room* this year? ha! There is a 5k race/walk downtown Saturday AM. You might have a hard time finding a parking spot if you're driving into town for the sessions. Be sure to check the wiki for up-to-date parking advice for Saturday. And plan to carpool to reduce problems.

GET http://g.mamund.com/5in5slides returns a no access error - seems like a protected google doc resource. Could you make it public?
