I've set up a repository for ResourceSpace plugins, powered of
course... by ResourceSpace!

http://www.resourcespace.org/plugins/

Plugin developers wishing to submit plugins, please apply for an admin
account using the link on the site.

There is now the task of taking plugins from this page:
http://rswiki.montala.net/index.php/Plugin_list
...and converting them to RSP files (which is as simple as a tar+gzip
and rename from .tar.gz to .rsp).

If anyone wants to do this, help is greatly appreciated. Bear in mind
that the original plugin devs (particularly Camillo) may no longer be
involved so feel free to do other people's plugins. Remove plugins
from the wiki when done.

Thanks!

Dan

Hey Dan,

I tried to apply for an account on plugins repository, and I found this:
/var/www_resourcespace/plugins/include/searchbar.php line 53: Undefined variable: username

xD

We'll also need to periodically publish the latest updates to the
repository of course!

Thanks, Dan, great work.

Yes - it's only for released code, like the zip of ResourceSpace that
can be downloaded. The act of putting it on the repository probably
means it is 'release 1' and subsequent uploads should have incremented
version numbers.

In fact, I will add a version number field for this...

Dan,

I think that this problem is to Camillo, but no problem... I'll see this on a moment...

I think you are right, I first thought that it might have been due to
the change of paths, but then the paths used would never have worked.
Thanks for fixing.

The link
http://www.resourcespace.com/plugins/
is returning a 404 Error.
Was the repo moved to another location?

Hi Kareem,

This thread originates from 2009.

The majority of plugins were included in the base software a few years ago (see Admin -> System -> Manage Plugins) so there was no need for a separate repository and it was discontinued. All these plugins are maintained just as if they are part of the base code.

Additionally there are some experimental / work in progress plugins here: http://svn.resourcespace.org/svn/resourcespace-plugins/ - these are not part of the main project and are "owned" (in a loose sense) by various people and are in various states of completion. They may not work with the latest version. They could be good starting points if you're building new functionality however.

I hope that's useful.
