Vertical images rotated when opened in some apps

After having downloaded vertical images, images appears 180° rotated in some apps such as:
photoshop and default OSX image viewer.
See attached file, from left to right:
downloaded and opened in Photoshop, RS preview, downloaded and opened in IrfanView

seems due to changes in language files for "Portrait" -> Vertical and "Landscape" -> Horizontal.
Works fine after a reset to default value "Portrait" -> Portrait and "Landscape" -> Landscape.
