Hi there,
As you probably know Windows 8 has been released and Microsoft is pushing windows 8 to being the only operating system that can be obtained. So I have switched to it, and I have been pretty happy with it except the fact that resol service center does not run on it.
Attached is the error log it gives when it is launched.
The test system it is running on has both 64 and 32 bit jdk installed on it.

Peter, I have the same problem.

Run it in windows 7 compatibility mode.
