Question regarding using gitiles from source rather then plugin

Hi, how do we setup gitiles from the daemon so that it behaves like the plugin, ie access controls as we doin't want to make public hidden repos.

How does google do this?

also how does run start gitiles from the war and also get it to read gerrit's repo's?

Though we want to have gitiles on a seperate url like https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/g/ (we are using gitiles baseUrl) but that only changes gerrit's ui, in gitiles it links as plugins/gitiles/

install the gitiles plugin [1] which integrates gitiles into gerrit as a gerrit plugin

We set that :), it works through gerrit's ui, but in gitiles backend, it does not convert the link to that, thus it keeps it on /plugins/gitiles/

maybe gerrit.baseurl helps ?
