Hi,

   I am new to gerrit.
   After Submitting commits to GIT.
Sometimes Author ID and Committer ID is reflecting with different ID's.
I am using 2.10.4 Gerrit version.
For reference please find attached screenshot.
Could you please help on this.

Thanks.

It's expected that author and committer can differ. This is why these are 2 fields, if they would always be the same 1 field would have been enough.
Author is the one who wrote the code, committer is the one who created the commit.
E.g. if you amend the commit of somebody else, you will be committer of that commit, but the other person will stay the author (unless you overwrite the author information explicitly).

Additionally ... when you "submit" a change you are actually rebasing or merging a Git commit.
Who is pressing the "submit" button becomes the committer of that merge (or rebase).

The committer id is set to "Gerrit Code Review", have you noticed?

Luca.

This is the identity of the Gerrit server.
If a commit is created by the Gerrit server the Gerrit server identity is used as committer name.
This means you did an action that made Gerrit create this commit for you (e.g. rebase, cherry-pick, submit...).

Thanks
