PolyGerrit top-menu items REST-API: when will they be implemented?

Hi all,
I am really happy that PolyGerrit with 2.15 is getting close to be released. However, some of the basic features of plugins is still missing IMHO.

Gerrit exposes a REST API that gives the list of top-menu items provided by plugins (not GWT-specific, general purpose, provides only links) but that is not exposed yet by PolyGerrit.

Any idea of when that is going to be included?
I am not a PolyGerrit expert at all ... but it should be as easy as the addition of the "Documentation" top menu ;-)

You should file this on https://bugs.chromium.org/p/gerrit/issues/ :)

Where it can be triaged and decided weather it can be implemented now or later down the road.

Though i think we will need to have a drop down box as there would be too many boxes in there for mobiles.

I believe there was already an old discussion thread and a change for review as well, possibly an issue as well?
