So many refurbishers and recyclers run sheltered workshops where developmentally disabled people do demanufacturing, I thought this news might be useful.
The U.S. Dept. of Justice Civil Rights Division has started a process in Rhode Island to make sure that segregated work environments in sheltered workshops are regulated. It found that the low wages and menial work being done in them is exploitative.
