I have an HP Pro book 6560b and no matter what approved whitelisted wlan card I install, none show up in device manager. Is it possibly a module problem? Some unapproved cards are rejected at boot up and disabled, so it doesn't sound like a module problem. Any ideas?

Thanks all

If the device never showed up in the device manager even as an unknown device. Adding a driver will not help you. Check if it is enabled in the bios. It could be bad. I've had that happen sometimes. If it is not the HP specific card it will not work from what I have seen.
