Why is it that the EULA cannot come up, similar to the welcome screen in Vista, and can be checked off to not be shown again? Installing the updates allows us to make sure all the drivers are installed, and the machine operates 100%.

Also, why did Microsoft change the Office installation pre-install prcedure? In earlier versions of Office, we could pre-install without having the key.

All valid questions. At the end of the day...We must comply with their wishes for their products.

If you use sysprep correctly. All your EULA issues are solved...

If you place the install files for Office and utilize the updates folder correctly. Installing Office before hand seems complicated and time consuming for most builders. Ideally you need to leave the install files on the machine anyway to allow office to repair things that could break. If you do not, it will come back to you to fix. Other methods do exist but are more complicated to implement. KISS method is the best answer for most.

I know parts of this process have changed but so has the hardware challenges. We all must continue to grow and adapt with the never ending changes in our industry.
