Very New to this group and to refurbishers program

Hello,

My name is Joseph.  I am interested in becoming a registered refurbisher.  I was hoping someone in this group could answer a couple of questions for me.

What I would like to do is refurbish pcs and sell them on Craigslist or to people I know.  From what I have read about this program, that would fall under commercial licenses Not citizenship licenses.  So my question is this

I was told I have to purchase 20 licenses at a time minimum.  How much is each commercial license?  I would also be interested in purchasing Office licenses.  Would like to know the cost for those, and one last thing.  Could I buy 15 windows licenses and 5 office ones for example to make up the 20? 

Do you get actual media? or just the coa stickers then you download iso files?

Thank you so much for any information.  This program sounds very exciting.  I just want to make sure I can afford it before I get signed up.

For the commercial licenses, you only have to buy 3pcs at a time through Distribution (MaLabs, D&H, etc).  You have to be a MRR, and you also have to get credit and setup as a vendor through whatever dealer you plan to purchase from.  The cost of the Windows licenses is $43-$45, depending on where and how many you purchase.  You DO have the media for each COA purchased.

 

I can’t help for Office as I don’t even bother offering it as I sell to schools and I can’t sell the licenses available through the MRR program to them.  And the commercial licenses are more than the school would pay.  The Office licenses through the Citizenship program are fine for purchase, but you’d have to sell the equipment to a non-profit or another approved end-user.

Welcome to the group. I can answer some questions right off, there are a few others will be able to help. We are not a CMAR so I cant help with the qty specifics.

 

1) The CMAR licenses are diff prices based on the vendor selling. You will get a list when you sign up.

2) You can request the media,, we install the OS first and then order set of COAs as we need them. but that's us for MRR. For
