with her far-flung family; her landline is audio-only, she's no longer able to work her computer, and she lost her ordinary mass-market cell
phone so a replacement should be something purpose-designed for dementia / Alzheimer's, to maximize the likelihood that she'll be able to work it, and if possible, wearable so it'd be less likely to get lost.
