Partnering with PHAs to Support Digital Inclusion

Hello All,

My name is Amber Petty, and I serve as National Program Coordinator at EveryoneOn. EveryoneOn is a national nonprofit working to eliminate the digital divide by making high-speed, low-cost Internet service and computers, and free digital literacy courses accessible to all unconnected Americans. We aim to leverage the democratizing power of the Internet to provide opportunity to all Americans – regardless of age, race, geography, income, or education level.

Last year we helped launch the ConnectHome initiative, a pilot initiative lead by the White House and the US Department of Housing that will accelerate broadband adoption by children and families living in HUD-assisted housing across the nation. Working with 28 communities across the nation, we have had great success in bringing together local partners to promote digital inclusion. 

We are looking to recruit partners who can provide affordable devices in specific markets or nationwide. I am including here a one-pager with more information as well as devices specs we are looking for. If you are interested please feel free to reach out!

We load every computer with over $500 worth of proprietary software for learning from babies to senior Citizens. We need your help reaching folks in Philadelphia and our region. I saw your response to Amber Petty.  I have been looking into these programs, including EveryoneOn and have actually had a couple of meetings in DC with the people running ConnectHome.  There are some conflicting facts circulating right now and I'm trying to get some clarification to share with you as well as all the other nonprofit refurbishers we are trying to bring together.
