We're expanding our team and are in search of an outstanding PMM to join ActiveProspect! 

The ideal Product Marketing Manager is knowledgeable and passionate about marketing technologies. This is highly important as you will craft the messaging and positioning for the product suite and be responsible for the outbound marketing activities of our products. This is a great position for someone who loves to create content about technology that highlights product benefits to our customers in a way that connects with their business needs. Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits is crucial.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the CEO and Product Management Director to establish long term product strategy
  • Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates our products in the market
  • Sales enablement – communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of our products. Recommend conferences and trade shows and develop support materials.
  • Product launch – with the Product Director, plan the launch of new products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan
  • Own the process for sending regular updates to customers and prospects
  • Own and grow brand awareness including social media presence
  • Manage the overall content and strategy for ActiveProspect.com
  • Market intelligence – be the expert on our customers, how they buy and their buying criteria; be the expert on our competition
  • Demand generation – develop the strategy and manage the marketing programs that drive demand for our products
  • Drive pricing strategy for products and services
  • Set aggressive, measurable goals and implement the necessary processes to gauge and report on success 

Requirements

  • 5+ years of SaaS product marketing experience is ideal
  • Experience with a start-up or a “roll up your sleeves” type of company is a big plus
  • Lead generation / demand generation industry experience a plus
  • Domain expertise in the marketing technology ecosystem around online lead generation
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Very strong written communication skills
  • Willing to travel
  • Excellent people skills
