Pushstart Creative is seeking a motivated individual to serve as Studio
Manager for our product design agency with offices in East Austin. The
role is part office manager, part project manager, a little human
resources, a bit of an account manager and new business person,
researcher, marketer, editor, and general do-it-all. As a design
consultancy focused on emerging experiences the ideal candidate has a
love of technology and the creative process.
Responsibilities:
- Office management: keep the office humming by
procuring supplies, managing vendors and service providers, organizing
events, and making clients feel welcome and cared for.
- Project management: help onboard new clients,
develop project schedules, coordinate with clients, create meeting notes
and project documentation, help assess staffing needs.
- Marketing and New Business: support PR and
targeted marketing efforts, help maintain website and social media,
screen inbound client leads, help create project proposals and bids.
- HR & Recruiting: produce job descriptions
based on team input, manage job postings and candidate screening,
schedule interviews, help administer payroll and benefits.
- Research: participate in user, market, context,
manufacturing, and technology research for both general agency knowledge
and project specific needs.
- Writing and Editing: author original materials, review and edit client deliverables.
Qualifications:
Candidates should have experience in a professional environment, an interest in
design, and a proven track record of organization, responsibility, and
adaptability. Education or job experience in any of the aforementioned
fields is a plus.
