Hosting Redis in a Docker environment

Hi

we are curretnly setting up a dedicated redis cache server. I've read a lot about downsized of virtualisation in redis.

The server  on which redis will be running has more performance then the redis is currently requiring. 

I'm wondering wether I should be alrted as we are thinking about to run redis in a docker envrionment ?

Can some provide me further infos ? Any experiences and comparisons?
