I want to have a master/slave with as usual read/write routing.
But I'm unable to put those in a single haproxy.conf file. Is it possible or I have to have two seperate haproxy server for read and write.

Can you explain precisely what you are trying to do with HAProxy and Redis? Because I can think of at least 3 different things that you might want with your description, some of them can work, some of them can't.
