redis cluster-memory issue

Hi

We tried inserting huge records in redis database and tried calculating the maximum amount of data that can be inserted in one redis instance so that we can partition the data into many redis instances.We have inserted the data more than the available free memory space but found that the redis server is throwing an out of memory exception but the client application is running successfully, inserting all the records in the database.We are unable to understand how long and how much more data is needed to fill all the free memory space.

Kindly help us to understand this issue.
