Hardware Requirements for redis 3.2.3 in context of CPU and Memory

Hi,

I have a question regarding hardware requirements for redis 3.2.3. what should be the config of a server specifically CPU cores and Memory? I am planning to spawn a VM instance in cloud. Please suggest.

Hi

Redis(Cluster) does not have special requirement for hardwares. Since Redis is single threaded(most of the time), you can run per Redis process per core. Speaking of memory, it really depends on your usage, for example, if you use Redis as an LRU cache or persistent storage.
