Setting node's Node ID for Cluster OPS

Hello,

Is there a way to persist or give via a flag on invocation a node's ID as used in the cluster_enabled mode?

The use case is when utilizing docker and not persisting the nodes.conf, i'd like to be able to restart a container and giving it an old node ID that was used before so the computer could come back and assume the role it did before without too much work on my behalf.
