Fox News legal analyst Andrew Napolitano said the American public
"learned" on Wednesday that federal prosecutors have evidence President
Trump committed a crime.

"Career prosecutors here in New York have evidence that the president of
the United States committed a felony by ordering and paying Michael Cohen
to break the law,” Napolitano said while speaking on Fox News. “How do we
know that? They told that to the federal judge. Under the rules, they
can’t tell that to the federal judge unless they actually have that
hardcore evidence. Under the rules, they can’t tell that to the federal
judge unless they intend to do something with that evidence."

His comments came just hours after Cohen was sentenced to three years in
prison for a series of crimes he committed while serving as Trump's
personal attorney and fixer.

The sentence stems from eight federal charges Cohen pleaded guilty to in
August. Among them, Cohen admitted to violating campaign finance law by
paying off two women who alleged to have had affairs with Trump more than
a decade ago.

Prosecutors in the Southern District of New York have said that Trump
directed Cohen to make the payments. Assistant U.S. Attorney Nicolas Roos
stated in court Wednesday that Cohen "eroded faith in the electoral
process" by committing the crimes.

“The felony is paying Michael Cohen to commit a felony. It’s pretty
basic," Napolitano said. "You pay someone to commit a crime, they commit
the crime. You are liable, criminally liable for the commission of that
crime. That’s what the prosecutors told the federal judge.”

In addition, Napolitano asserted that the agreement prosecutors reached
with American Media Inc. (AMI), the parent company of the National
Enquirer, "ties a bow on all of this."

AMI on Wednesday admitted to paying $150,000 to a woman "in concert with"
Trump's presidential campaign "in order to ensure that the woman did not
publicize damaging allegations about the candidate before the 2016
presidential election."

Hmmmm....

What's that word when two or more people work together to violate the law?

"Collusion"? No that's not quite it, is it?

I know!

"Conspiracy"!

Individual 1...

Who is now president of the USA.

...is guilty of conspiracy!

Trump is totally screwed but of course he is not smart enough to realize
it. In addition to multiple counts of conspiracy, I also expect him to be
nailed for obstruction of justice, campaign finance violations, tax fraud,
money laundering, etc. I would also expect his kids to get nailed for some
subset of these crimes, as applicable.

I love the way the trumpettes are now pivoting from "No crimes!" to
"They're not serious!"

So as long as Russia wasn't involved, you're OK with the president
committing felonies?

Funny that you don't understand English. This had nothing to do with
Russia, only Trump's payoffs for his spankings.

Read it again but slowly this time;

The fact that these charges have come FIRST doesn't change anything.

So much of this behavior is merely classical Goalpost moving, so
as to stay in denial.

In the meantime, Maria Butina ...

(in case anyone has forgotten, is the Russian woman who through
the NRA schemed to build back-channel ties between the Russian
government and the Trump campaign)

...has pleaded guilty to conspiring to act as a clandestine foreign agent.

And is cooperating with the ongoing investigations.

Oh, and her handler, Torshin, has gone missing.

Looks like Mikey didn't get "the Memo"***

"The memo says that although this crime was serious, any sentencing
should be served concurrently with the New York prosecutors'
recommendations on other crimes.

Five big things Mueller is looking at
Trump Russia: The saga in 250 words
The memo says Cohen has taken "significant steps to mitigate his
criminal conduct".

***The key elements of the memo are about the Russian links. They are
that Cohen:***

"Provided information about his own contacts with Russian interests
during the campaign and discussions with others in the course of making
those contacts"
"Also provided information about attempts by other Russian nationals to
reach the campaign"
Spoke to "a Russian national who claimed to be a 'trusted person' in
the Russian Federation who could offer the campaign 'political synergy'
and 'synergy on a government level'". This person proposed a meeting
between Individual 1 (previously identified by Cohen as Mr Trump) and
the Russian president, saying it could have a "phenomenal" impact "not
only in political but in a business dimension as well". The meeting did
not take place
Provided "relevant and useful information concerning his contacts with
persons connected to the White House during the 2017-2018 time period"

--
"We have helped to create a situation that has allowed us to end up
with Trump. The dumbing down of our society through the media, the lack
of education through poor schools, allows for a dumbed-down electorate,
and for him to be able to actually get 63 million votes."

Of course it was/is but not the situation being discussed i.e.
Trump/Cohen. You aren't dense just jacking around?

Oh right, you're retarded. Let me explain this to you:

The primary conspiracy charges will stem from Trump admin colluding with
Russian nationals to influence the outcome of the 2016 election.

The obstruction charges should be obvious even to you and involve Trump's
ongoing and public attempts to derail the Mueller investigation.

We haven't gotten to the tax fraud and money laundering charges yet, but
basically Trump was totally radioactive to the legitimate banking industry
after his six (6) bankruptcies, so the bulk of his funding has come from
shadowy Russian interests. I've posted cites for this multiple times which
I'm sure you've read...

Oh, and there is one known pending indictment that is not related to
Russian interests, and that is the inevitable campaign finance violations
stemming from Trump ordering catch and kill payoffs to various pornstars
and playmates in order to prevent them from influencing the 2016 election.

So in review, one (1) of the pending charges has nothing to do with the
Russians. This really beats your average. Good job!

Putin's fascination with exotic poisons I will be surprised if we ever
hear from Torshin again.

Yes. 16,000 more Page and Strozk texts were "found". All in the time
period from the end of the election to the start of the Mueller probe.
Should be interesting.

But will the Dems care about their obvious corruption and bias.
Strozk was one of two agents who interviewed Flynn in the perjury trap. McCabe convinced Flynn he didn't need a lawyer. Comey is on tape, bragging that he was the one who ordered the interview. Disgusting....yet all the Dems care about is hush money.

Such hypocrisy.

You can bet your house that Cohen and Manafort have told Mueller
a lot more than has been publicly reported.

Actually, it's about criminal activity by some of Trump's closest
associates and by Trump himself. Now the FBI is looking into his
inauguration fundraising. He raised $106 million and spent
considerably less than that on the inauguration. The FBI wants to
know where the rest of the money went.
