What a weasel this guy is...he backstabs Johnny Carson with a planted
New York Times story in the 1980s, he backstabs his former best friend
David Letterman and snakes the Tonight Show from him, he "retires"
from the Tonight show, but just can't walk away so he takes over the
9PM CDT time slot which pretty much assures that Conan will get
screwed out of guests and viewers in the 10:30 slot.....NOW he wants
his old timeslot back and NBC is giving it to him. Conan is told he
can have 11:05 to Midnight or he can walk???? WTF?

I think the people at NBC are the only people who think he's funny.

I never thought he was that funny. Letterman is much sharper, as is
Jon Stewart for that matter.

I think Leno's success in the old (later) timeslot was due to a lot of
old people being comfortable with NBC/Carson/11:30pm autopilot tuning.
Boring but safe.

I'm not a fan of his, but as I recall he was pushed out of his 11:30
pm timeslot for Conan, he did not give it up willingly.

NBC was going to lose Conan so they offered him the Tonight show if
he'd stick around for 5 more years...JAY LENO AGREED TO THIS!!!! As
it got closer he started to whine about it so NBC gave him the 9PM
slot. After only a month on the air Leno started to complain and said
if NBC wanted he would go back to 10:30. Now NBC is smacking Conan
around after they made him wait in the 11:30 slot for FIVE years. Jay
Leno is a classless weasel. He stabbed Johnny in the back,
Letterman in the back and now Conan.

Conan is funny? Leno is Funny? they are as funny as often as a blind

I used to think I was the only one who did not think he
was funny. "Oh, well. People like him. Times change." Now
I find out he is being forced on us. Conan is funny, but I
had to stop watching because he likes politics too much to
be enjoyable. I watch entertainment shows for a respite
from relevance; now the opening monologue is a continuation
of the late evening news.
