Any indoor satellite users?

I have never worked satellites and know almost nothing about them. Why is
it that when you see somebody enjoying a satellite QSO theyre always out
doors with a handheld antenna? Can you have an indoor station?

Beginner APRS/Packet Questions about ISS

Posted: 08 Jun 2017 01:50 PM PDT

Hi all,

In the four years Ive been licensed Ive been vaguely away of some packet
and/or APRS capability aboard the ISS. With the Station getting on in age,
I thought it might be a good idea to try to do this while the equipment is
still operational.

Ive been researching on how to do this, but much of the information on the
web seems to be old, some of it about a decade in age and Im unsure if it
still accurate.

What can one do with the current digital capability onboard the ISS?...

stakeholders, or what a commercial enterprise would call “customers.”

Member engagement can take many forms. In the strategic planning process,
however, member engagement means helping AMSAT figure out how...
