* Cary John Franklin: Loss of Eden
The Opera Theatre of Saint Louis, featuring members of the Saint Louis
Symphony, presents this world premiere of Loss of Eden, written by the
composer/librettist team of Cary John Franklin and Michael Patrick
Albano. The opera is about the kidnapping of aviator Charles Lindbergh's
baby in 1932. Franklin says he chose the Lindbergh kidnapping because of
the close connection between Lindbergh and Saint Louis, as well as being
asked to write on an "American subject". Opera Theatre of Saint Louis;
