A query, about an actress in Chhote Nawab(1961)

The actress on whom the song,

ghar aajaa ghir aaye badaraa saa.Nvariyaa
moraa jiyaa dhak dhak re chamake bijuriyaa

was picturised, used to appear in many group
songs. This is the only song, where she did the
solo, and did it reasonably well for that classical
song. The credit should go to Mehmood for giving
her the opportunity.

Can someone please tell the name of that actress.

If I recall correctly, it was Ameeta, who also acted in Tumsa Nahin Dekha,
Dekh Kabira Roya and Goonj Uthi Shehnai.

Ameeta is in leading role, the song mentioned is like
a mujra, where this particular actress played the role.

I am not familiar with this movie. When I looked up for this movie,
IndiaFM lists the following star cast:

I believe the actress was Sheila Vaz.

At one time, she was a hot favourite of a particular
section of film-goers, so much so that her name would
be added to the credits at the end with the addition
of the word "And", like

I am familiar with the name in film titles, but not knowing
she was the actress.

There is error in my statement, that she used to appear
in group songs, some mix up by me, with some other face.

Her name appears, under Dancers, in Chhoti Bahen(1959)
titles.

One duet of Rafi and Asha, from Kaagaz Ke Phool(1959)
