I just tried to link to the lyrics to Cat Faber's "Yogh and Ash and Thorn" at https://www.echoschildren.org/NonCDlyrics/Yogh.html

Chrome said

>>>
This site can’t be reached
www.echoschildren.org refused to connect.
Try:
• Checking the connection
• Checking the proxy and the firewall
ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED
<<<

and Firefox agreed:

>>>
Unable to connect

Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at www.echoschildren.org.
<<<

I hope it's just temporary. The lyrics are also quoted in full at https://egotistsclub.wordpress.com/2015/06/10/yogh-and-ash-and-thorn/
and incorrectly at some other site that turned up in my Google search.

The server is apparently running -

> dhcp172162219:~ ProdTape$ host www.echoschildren.org
> www.echoschildren.org is an alias for echoschildren.org.
> echoschildren.org has address 216.92.223.64
> echoschildren.org mail is handled by 50 mail1.g7.pair.com.
> dhcp172162219:~ ProdTape$ ping www.echoschildren.org
> PING echoschildren.org (216.92.223.64): 56 data bytes
> 64 bytes from 216.92.223.64: icmp_seq=0 ttl=54 time=23.371 ms

- and the web server is running but perhaps misconfigured :-(

At least the Internet Archive still has that page backed up.

I e-mailed the contact listed in whois. TL;DR: He didn't know
it was down (and had been for a week) and it's now fixed. BUT you
have to use HTTP not HTTPS.

I just checked, and http://www.echoschildren.org is up and running now.
Trying to reach it by https gets an error; I don't know if it ever
worked in the past.
