Thanks and apologies to Clement Clarke Moore

'Twas the night before World Juggling Day
and all through the hall
not a prop was heard dropping,
not even one ball.

Workshops were over,
great skills had been shared,
folks who'd attended hoped
mastery soon would be theirs.

Skaker cups nestled into one another,
stuffed into prop bags with clubs, rings, and bean bags,
(sometimes even one feather).

And folks in their tie dyes
(t-shirts, skirts, and caps)
unwound for the evening,
loosening belts and shoulder straps.

Away in the distance clouds formed, growing chilly.
A lone figure emerged, whose name was "Rastelli".

(to be continued next year?)
