Ron's Common and Uncommon New Year's Auction (Update 17)

RON'S COMMON AND UNCOMMON NEW YEAR'S AUCTION (Update 17)
IMPORTANT! IMPORTANT!: Tonight is the sixth night of the Going, Going,
Gone phase of the auction. Bidding will remain open during this phase (new
bidders may join in even though they have not previously bid on an item or have
bid on other items). Many items have now been marked Sold!, so get your bids in
on the remaining items. As mentioned below in the rules, bidding will now be in
$0.50 increments.
This phase of the auction works as follows: If an item has been marked G1
(going once) and I have not had a new bid on that item by the next evening's
update, that item will be marked G2 (going twice). If I have not had a new bid
on that item by the second day's update, that item will be marked SOLD (of
course if I do have a new bid on an item during that two day period, that item
will again revert to a G1 status, and the process starts anew)!
As my rare, extremely rare, and unbelievably rare auction winds down, it
has occurred to me that it might be a good idea to hold an auction of just
common and uncommon carts for those folks who are just getting back into their
older video game systems and are looking to find the cartridges that they
remember having when they were younger (mostly because of the great gameplay).
Thus, I've decided to auction off a large load of these carts. I'm sure
everyone will recognize a favorite cartridge or two from their past and see
quite a few that they didn't know existed. I've set the minimum bid on the
common cartridges at $1.00 and on the uncommon cartridges at $2.00.
1. Bidding will be in $.25 increments; however, once the Going once, Going
twice, SOLD! phase of the auction starts, bidding will be in $.50 increments.
2. The first phase of the auction will run until Monday, January 27, 1997, when
the auction will enter its second stage where all items are subject to a going,
going, gone status.
3. I won't be doing any trades this particular auction.
4. Bid as often and as high as you like.
5. All carts and systems are loose (that means without box or instructions)
unless I indicate otherwise.
6. Shipping will be paid by the winning bidder. Shipping costs will be based
on the number and weight of the items purchased, and its destination.
7. Preferred payment is by money order or cashier's check. Your shipment will
be sent immediately.
8. If you pay by check, I will wait until the check clears to mail your
shipment (normally seven (7) working days from the date I deposit the check).
9. Upon an article being sold, you will have ten (10) days in which to make
payment. If I have not received payment within ten (10) days, the good(s) will
be offered to the next highest bidder or withdrawn from the auction.
10. I will send out updates as I can, normally around 7:00 P.M. EDT each
evening.
11. The only reason I can think of for extending the auction is if I have server
problems.
12. Remember, if you have any questions concerning the exact condition of a
cart, please ask me, and I'll do my best to descibe the cart in greater detail.
