I was dealing with this guy for 2 signed beta moxes and did my part by
sending them out promptly and he received them and supposedly sent my cards
out via registered mail...so far so good....then after a month i mailed him
cos they had not arrived. After running a trace which is what he claimed he
did, he said that his post office had told him i had received it from a
postman on the 14/4/98...the parcel that was sent out on 4/4/98. Well,
having recieved no such parcel or letter i ran a trace on my own....and the
authorities said that no such parcel (absed on the article number he gave
me) ever entered the country. The best part is that when confronted with
this issue and me offering to provide an official letter stating that there
was no such item entering hte country , he just very nonchalantly stated
that it was no longer his problem. My question is just where does his sense
of responsibility lie cos i did my part by making sure that my cards reached
him. For eg my cards did not reach a Michael Smith which i was trading
with...and i immediately sent an agreed replacement even though i had lost
abotu 800 worth of cards...cos i faltered in my side of the deal and it was
MY RESPONSIBILITY to compensate him.....he will vouch to
that(necr...@rrnet.com). I just think that Elmar Reder's behaviour is very
irresponsible cos i had no intention for him to bear the full brunt of this
flop even though it looks outright like a scam....but he just shrugged me
off...whether or not he even sent the cards is not known so all i can do is
warn you guys.....all the good traders out there beware!!!
