The Grand Masquerade 2011

The Vampire: The Masquerade 20th Anniversary Convention

Due to the incredible success of The Grand Masquerade 2010, White Wolf
invites all World of Darkness fans to join us for The Grand Masquerade
2011, September 15-18 at the legendary Hotel Monteleone in New
Orleans. In cooperation with The Camarilla Fan Club, One World by
Night, The Garou Nation, The Wrecking Crew and The Elder Kindred
Network, the gala affair will celebrate the historic 20th anniversary
of Vampire: The Masquerade.

A defining moment and not-to-be-missed event, The Grand Masquerade
2011 brings together the glamour and style from Grand Masquerade 2010
and blends it with the historic intimacy of the very center of the
world’s most iconic vampire city, the New Orleans French Quarter.

The Venue

It’s been said that the French Quarter experience begins in the lobby
of the Hotel Monteleone. In fact, this venerable establishment sits
majestically at the very foot of Royal Street. Known as “The Grand
Dame” of the French Quarter, the Hotel Monteleone has been the center
of luxury and charm for over four generations, having originally
opened its doors in 1886. Visitors need only step outside onto the
European-style cobblestone streets of this to discover quaint
restaurants, fabulous art galleries, and shop’s of antiquities from
around the world.

This historic landmark sits a mere three blocks from Jackson Square,
the Old French Market and the River Walk, and boasts 600 newly
renovated rooms and suites, two award-winning restaurants, the famous
Carousel Bar, a heated rooftop pool, a haunted and literary history
that includes the likes of Ernest Hemingway, Truman Capote, William
Faulkner, and Tennessee Williams that is unmatched in the city of New
Orleans.

By utilizing 100% of the stunning banquet, meeting room and
hospitality space combined with its impeccable service, modern
amenities, attention to detail, and unrivaled location, the Hotel
Monteleone will provide the World of Darkness fan community the most
intimate, stylish, and unique venue to celebrate the 20th anniversary
of Vampire: The Masquerade.
