Call 112 when arriving country and ask about methods and strange news etc
Does your phone work?
Visit hospital
Visit largest universities
Visit police do they have presence in city?
Is there many criminals?
Abnormal things (indirect speech)
Prefer to be anonymous
Headache!!!/Attack!!! => walk
Usually things appear normal but you will soon notice abnormalities and things are maybe much more normal in countryside than in large city hospitals
Read scientific articles (offen rubbish)
Check Facebook
Check map
Call to the place before visiting (112, police,airports,universities,..)
