It took long enough but we've finally finished the Space Shuttle ramp!
By far this has been the most challenging ramp we've done to date. We
were determined to make the ramp much stronger than the original and
much thicker, we succeeded on both counts.

In the common break area this new ramp is over 5 times as thick as
original and we used a stronger plastic. We also were able to get a
flap on the ramps which make the shots MUCH smoother than original.

We also have the new Space Shuttle ship ready to go as well. It too is
much thicker than original.

We will have the ramp and ship at the Ohio Show this weekend and will
begin shipping to the distributors next week. We will have them on our
website soon after all the distributors have a chance to get them in
stock.

Special thanks to Tim Christie who let me abuse his machine for testing.
And David Morse for getting us a blank playfield so we can test fit
each ramp before they go out.

Cheers.

Woohoo! I'll be buying a set.

Are you going to be at the Midwest Gaming Classic again this year?

Are these available to order from your website? I can't make it to Ohio, but I'm going to allentown.

We'll be shipping to the distributor next week, then soon after we'll have
them on our site. We always allow our distributors to get the product
listed before we do.

Unfortunately we can't make it to the MCG this year. It's too bad
because it really is a great show.

Bummer. I bought several hundred bucks worth of "vintage paper" from you at MGC last year - was looking forward to the opportunity to do it again.

This is great news for Space Shuttle owners!

Off hte original topic here, but will there ever be another run of Taxi
departure ramps?

Seems there is a huge need for these.

Thanks!
Chris

Yes, I was wondering what the price for the shuttle and ramp is/will be.

The ramp retail is $119, ship $49 with decal set. There will be a
combined price but we haven't made it final just yet (still trying to
work all the costs into the equation). Pictures will be on our website
once we get them listed. I am sure all the distributors will have
photos as well.

Yes the Taxi departure ramps are being run again and we are also making
the arrival ramp this time. They are the current ramps at the top of
the production schedule. :)

And to prematurely answer the next question about Taxi...sorry we are
not currently set up to make the Spinout ramp as it is an injection
process not a thermoform process.

I am ecstatic about this and the price is nice as well? HELL YEAH. I've
been asking everyone under the sun about these for months.

I can't wait. I may just order 2-3 ramps and 4 toys just so I will
always have some backups. ESPECIALLY if the toy already has the rivets
and brackets on it.

Dies the shuttle have any of the hardware on it, or do we strip the
switch/bracket/wiring from the old one and have to rivet it?

Please let me know when the shuttle and ramp are available on the
website, totally interested!

I've checked the authorized distributor list. Only Curly has the
shuttle, nobody has the ramps. I would rather purchase the shuttle and
ramp as a set, rather than piecemeal, when will they be available,
James?
