And check if any neighbors picked it up for you. LTG :)

Besides the neighbors, make sure no dogs or other animals might have
dragged it away. I know it sounds stupid, but around here, we've had
raccoons pull large pieces of garbage away. If there was any kind of
sweet substance on the box, like jelly, or sugar or anything that the
driver might have been eating, that would attract animals as well.
Probably a long shot, but something to look into before you make all
your neighbors mad by calling the cops on them all.

Also, check to make sure he didn't leave it in between the screen door
and the main door, or under your doormat, or maybe under a bush near the
porch. Sometimes they try not to leave the package right out in the
open.
Search around the house, call the cops, call courier and of course
next time make sure a signature is required or have it delivered to
your workplace.
Sorry to hear about your loss, that does suck.
Insured? FedEx needs to have a prior release authorized to leave
without signature. This will get the driver in trouble if you have a
delivery relationship but that's the risk he took.

Thanks for the help guys, hopefully something comes up. If not, anyone
have a good deal on another NOS Monopoly PF?

I always find deliveries at other houses on my street - I think the 3"
numbers on my mailbox must be hard to see.
Good idea, why not go up and down the street and find out if someone
else has it.
You could leave notes on the doors as well, get your neighborhood
involved and interested in pinball via this sad story.
A raccoon drug a playfield away? wtf? Hope I never see a raccoon that
big.
I live in a subdivision, and there's a raccoon around here we keep
seeing, last night he was walking down the street, the damn thing is
the size of a 5 year old kid. He gets in the trash but hell I don't
want to shoot him or anything, it's a beautiful looking animal. Hope
he doesn't have rabies!
Raccoons up here are huge, I have a family of them that hangs out at
my waterfall at night.
They are nocturnal and are usually not rabid, if you see one out
during the day however chance are it is rabid.

Jeff, its gotta be a mistake...you live in a great
nieghborhood.......i must be at another addy somewhere..... BUT....if
it is stolen i do think you should call the locals and report it as i
said if it is stolen, alot of times when they finaly catch up to those
guys they have a cache of stuff laying in or around thier homes that
they couldnt sell cause they dont know what to do with it...that will
definately be the case with the playfeild...they wouldnt know what the
fuck to do with that.....
the cops will know to be looking at pawn shops for your stuff
too.....the police definately need to know.....i know it blows and i
feel awful for ya....i wish i could wave the wand and make it show up
at your door.! see ya bright and early sunday...later
I've had packages get delivered to the wrong address on several
occasions. Once I reported it to the delivery companies they've almost
always found them. Usually the driver misread the address.
Hopefully this is what happened to yours.
Chas
Yeah, he saw it tucked under the doormat and couldn't resist it ; )
I had the tracking info say shipped and delivered,, when infact it was
not it came the next day so maybe it said it was delivered and just
never was.
I've had packages show delivered on the website but it wasn't there,
and find it there the next day.
Some lazy drivers will scan the next few packages delivered at the
same time, then deliver them, but sometimes miss one and find it at
the end of their shift. They will stash it so they won't get in
trouble then deliver it the next day. I'll bet you'll end up getting
this...

I try to NEVER USE FEDEX. I will not buy from vendors who only use
FEDEX as well.

Any chance the UPS driver took it thinking it was a pickup when he
droped off the other package? Might want to give them a call.
Does George Riley live near you?
I kid....I kid.....

We cruised the neighborhood looking on porches, with no results.
We called FedEx and they FINALLY let us talk to the driver.
He described where he left it and it turned out to be our
neighbor's porch. THEY were gone and had someone
picking up their stuff! Geeze... We finally got the
(extremely time-sensitive) package back, but only
after a LOT of gyrations... You need to get to the
driver quickly before his memory fades.
NOW, I insist that senders check the "signature required"
box so nothing is left on my porch... Particularly high-value
or time sensitive items.... I've also found that if the item is
insured, FedEx will not leave it without a signature.. HOWEVER,
UPS and USPS -will- leave it on the porch. Bottom line,
sender should request a signature regardless of the carrier.
Hope you can chase it down...

I would imagine if it was theft and the ups package was delivered
before the pf both box it would likely been stolen also. Were the
boxes visible from the street? I doubt someone had that litttle time
prior to your arrival to steal them. Fedex screws up deliveries all
the time, I had stuff delivered wrong a few times. I bet the pf
eventually shows up after you talk to the driver and check his log
etc., It must have been with him on the truck if he scanned it and it
showed being delivered. At least it will be somewhat easier pf to
replace compared to other titles. Hope it was just a mixup and you
are able to get it back.

Are you married? If so there is a very good chance your wife took it
and sold it, because she knows that damn thing will take up all your
time, not to mention money, and she wont see you for weeks!
Think about it...have you ever seen 'play-field-swap' on even one of
her honey-do lists? I think not...
If so you're one of the Lucky ones!

Yeah the seller only had one PF. And the seller is a really good guy
as well, so I'm not trying to screw him out of his $ either. Hopefully
either 1) it turns up or 2) we can get FedEx to cover the loss so we
both get something in the end. Still haven't heard anything from the
seller, but I dont believe he is ignoring me. I've done business in
the past w/ him and had no issues before.
Also nope, no wife. Haha.

If I want to see my boyfriend I know exactly where to look. If he's
not under the car he's got his head stuck in a pin. A man with a big
project is a man who is at home not getting in to trouble.

In my house it sure as hell is!
I just shipped an NOS PF valued at $550 via FedEx and they told me
that it couldn't be shipped without a signature upon receipt. Not
that I wanted to ship it without a signature required. I had to
specifically choose to allow a neighbor to sign for it which is also
not a good option as far I'm concerned.
So does the shipper's receipt indicate signature required? If so, by
whom? If a signature is required and none was gotten, then FedEx is
responsible for it and hopefully the shipper valued it appropriately.
Best of luck!

I had a feeling that's what happened, animals can be quite cunning
sometimes. So the fedex guy delivered it to your neighbors by mistake,
but then a beaver got hold of it and pulled it into the woods where you
found it? Crazy, one in a million story! Just be glad it's safe now.
They really should prohibit the fedex drivers from snacking and stuff
when on the road. I have no doubt there was some sweet substance on the
box that attracted the beaver.

I've had similar issues with Fed Ex. Not only that, but the bigger the
box the more damage to it seems to happen. Hopefully they scanned it
and forgot to deliver or dropped it off at the wrong place and get it
back. I've had the items show up a couple weeks later...and the Fed Ex
chickens won't even ring or knock or call. They just finally deliver
it correctly and run (apparently). Avoid Fex Ex if you can.
Great news. Congrats!
Well Bob, I'm sorry you feel that way, I guess you wish we only had 1
shipping company so they can charge whatever they want. No problems
with Fedex here.
