My 15 year old is having a PC internet gaming party here with his
buddies. Happen to check on them and they are watching The Holly
Grail while playing. Killer rabbit scene followed by the troll asking
3 questions is awesome.

Stern really should do this pin. The movie is watched by all ages
young and old, it's a college staple movie as is The Life of Brian and
others.

The modes could be of each movie and certain popular episodes of the
Flying Circus. Complete mini modes of each movie for a grand finale.

I fart in your general direction ! (Not in your tent)

Lots of things are timeless, but if one is not into it, it really does
not matter.

Kind of along the lines of Stern should make (fill in blank of band)
game.

This game would sell. Period. Half the reason MM draws as much

"No need"? You must be one of the ones who don't get it.

A couple of British accents do not Monty Python make.

Monty Python was ahead of its time. As was Benny Hill and Faulty

MM is absolutely a blatant Monty knockoff. Same as NoGoodGolphers is a
blatant Caddyshack knockoff. Use the theme but don't pay for the license.

Maybe Stern should be making "Metal Hero"...it'll be an unlicensed mega-hit!

British humor, like toilet humor, is not for everyone.

Me, I enjoy them both :)

Good hurryup would be a Holy Hand-grenade mode: shoot the 3bank of
drops IN ORDER ("..and that number shalt be Three!"). Bonus for
shooting 1,2,5 instead (need a one-bank somewhere else)

If we are going for a pin themed after an ancient movie featuring
British humor that only a dwindling group of aging nerds will
appreciate, I'm gonna vote for Time Bandits.

Hah.. another good movie. That one was the inspiration for all the
cool cloth maps that came with the Ultima games I used to play.

However, I'd say the group of nerds who appreciates MP humor is
noticeably larger than the nerd-herd following Time Bandits :)

Time Bandits is pretty much Monty Python. Its writen by Terry Gilliam, and
Michael Palin, Directed by Terry Gilliam, and had both Plain and John Cleese
in acting roles. They are all members of MP.

Does MP have Sean Connery? No.

Does MP have that cool dwarf? No.

Does MP have a theme song by George Harrison? No.

Does MP have a theatre full of obnoxious nerds reciting all the lines
and ruining the movie for anyone who hasn't watched it 500 times? Yes.

I rest my case. Time Bandits wins.

Yeah Stern doing a pin that pokes fun at religion, I don't think so.
Not saying anything bad about MP or their movies, I think they are
funny too, just saying that I can't see a pin company ever doing a
theme based on that particular movie. Other Python stuff, certainly.
But all the members are either getting really old or are dead, seems
too late in the game for a pin.
