Just played a premium at the Cointaker booth today. The game is
absolutly stunning. Cointaker and Stern did an outstanding job .One of
the best looking
factory ( or any for that matter ) games I have ever seen .

Untill you see one in person it just does not do the game justice.
Cant wait till my game arrives.

Played the Premium at the Marco booth during the TPF. I liked it so
much I ordered one. My only other Stern is a Spider-Man. I think
they will make a nice pair. :)

Just got back from Allentown. Great show.

Yes, yes, yes. Happy to say that AC DC is a winner. I love it.
Strangely i liked the pro (on the other side) better! Probably because
it had the sound turned up and was in full lighting. This is one game
that needs to be heard.

What a great game - i was rocking it.

Steve, Lyman and team did right by us. Loved cashing on on my songs
and going through the different modes. Didnt even think i would like
the cannon but its done well - better than it was in T2, an
improvement.

I cant wait for my Premium.

Glad to hear you guys are digging it....I keep watching videos and
just am not feeling it....but - a friend of mine is getting BIB, so -
I'll play it soon enough. If it rocks my socks, I'll go for a
Premium.

We have a Pro set up at the warehouse (come out and play!) and it's a
ton of fun. Yes, lots of rules still need to be written, but I have
every confidence that Lyman will get them done. When it's all said and
done, this will be a very deep game.

I had a chance to play one on location (Gameworks), and it just didn't
impress me. I stopped at Pinball life and was able to get a few plays on
a properly set up table. Night and day. Fast and Loud!

Played pro and premium. Think I prefer pro as it is faster and more
unpredictable. Also the lower p/f was not great.

I have to agree. I was not the least bit excited about this game. Then I
played it (at the Cointaker booth). I was really impressed. It played
well, IMO.

Not enough for me personally to buy one (not crazy about the theme) but
it was a fun game to play, and visually looks VERY good. Love the bell!

Played this at Allentown - Coin Takers booth. Very nicely done.. Looks
and plays fantastic.
Really nice game to add to the collection. Honestly, I only see the
value of these going up.
But, here's my take on the difference between LTBR and Pro. Pro to me
was like seeing a tattoo placed
on the playfield of a big face. Total turn off. Regular targets. Cheap
bell. Doesn't swing. Just has a switch. No under
playfield. Honestly, stick it in a clear box and sell it like a Zizzle
pin. Just not for me. LTBR has presentation.
Nice looking piece, presentable, solid and everything just pops. The
only downer I have is that I can't stand the red
legs, armour and apron. To me... Red isn't an improvement. Now, put
chrome on all these parts and you have a
really attractive pin. Holy grail of all 3 = Bible. This has all the
colors all the bells/whistles and could only stay
on top of the heap for eternity in my opinion. But, I haven't played
the Bible yet so I can't really comment.
LTBR is really awsome! Coin Taker had a really cool light set up in
the back box making the ac dc red colors get
softer and then turn deep red. The only thing that was a downer, $400
for this. There must be a cheaper solution
than $400. The AFM color dmd set up is $400 and involves a lot more
technology IMHO. Love the light kit. Just the price
is a bit steep for the subtle light effect.

I played it for the first time yesterday. Didn't get a ton of time on
it, but was very impressed with what I saw. Loved the way it played,
very fast and in your face. This was the pro.

Anyone notice that they have Keith Johnson listed as being in 4th (i.e.
last) place on the default scores?!

I got my Premium yesterday.
I am VERY happy with the playfield. I was slightly concerned about it
but not to worry. Stern must be listening. It is as clear as its
going to be and has a good amount of clear coat on it. Looks like the
ball is floating in mid air when over the devil.

The 12" Sub is freaking huge!! They should trademark the thing. Give
it a name. Like "Stern Extreme Bass System".

It started up perfect. No issues. It does have new update art showing
Angus spinning on the ground.

Color changing LED 'GI' (http://tinyurl.com/bohb63u) is incredible as
well. HOMERUN for Stern. The FAST Pro is also a homerun for the
price.

This thing looks cool much better in person.

Red finish really really shines and stands out. I used pinballifes bolt
leg protectors.

Really happy with the purchase.

Skip the video stuff-experience it live.

From videos, I was wondering how it would play out-seemed like you
would be in a bar playing pinball you couldn't hear and listening to a
jukebox of AC/DC.

Well I got to play it. The game is fun. I had a chance to play both
the Pro and Premium versions. On the Pro, I think the "face" is not
the issue it is made to be and the Pro game plays wicked fast. Is
Angus "stunning" to look at? Well, no, he's Angus! But the big mug
shot did not affect me one way or the other.

I like the Premium's drop targets and thought the game played pretty
fast. Some expresed the drops would deaden the ball. Seemed to play
darn fast to me. I preferred the Premium art package over the Pro
(and the LEs I have seen photos of). I do like what I see with the
side rails on the LEs.

The lower playfield was fun, but did not seem to be a critical element
in the games I played. I played several of the Hell modes to see what
it did. Love the "Welcome to Hell" call outs and the insults.

Since I don't have full-time access to the game, I cannot really
comment too much, but I liked the rules-at least the ones I figured
out, flow and overall gameplay and I was enjoying switching back and
forth with songs. Listening to the song was not the issue I thought it
may be.

Of course if you are NOT a fan of AC/DC you will hate the game
soundtrack quickly. It is basically nothing but AC/DC rather than
pinball sounds. It is not do a certain sequence to hear an AC/DC song
now and then. You play the game for 3 minutes it's all AC/DC, or play
a marathon game-all AC/DC. I hear people complain they are tired of
hearing Back in Black, Highway to Hell etc. because they are on the
radio all the time. Well, this game won't make you happier :)

I will say I did not like the amount of times the ball would drain
SDTM-reminded me of the Avatar issue. (The games were leveled side to
side OK) I have seen where some people have adopted placing a larger
rubber grommet to deflect the ball, some have not. On the ones I
played, the game likes to drain out of the bumpers, and if the tilt
is tight, nudging is not going to save you. It was far too often to
be considered "random" or to say "that's pinball."

I am still a newbie on the game figuring out scoring strategies. 192
MIL is my high so far which I very well know is not very high at all
considering all the stuff you COULD do with double or triple scoring
etc. Lots of games in the wham, bam, thank you ma'am range :)
Nontheless, I feel, the GC scores by the A-players on this game are
going to be HUGE.

So far I like it. Looking forward to more time on it.

Steve R had mentioned that during different modes these will represent
different scoring opprotunity's, and in some cases will start
different objectives in a mode as well...

Im expecting you will see the code in this game to be way different
than anything we have seen yet to date in any pin.. :)

Unfortunately, four of those rgb LEDs ended up under red inserts. Not
sure why because only the red comes through.

Could be. The test system only lets you light up one at a time (red,
blue, or green). Maybe some combos of the colors will work, but those
red inserts sure seem to squash the blue and green.

That's weird. The most logical inserts are the rollovers, in/out lanes,
music notes and super modes. That is 16. Has this been verified or are
you basing that off of the manual?

Verified on 2 LTBR machines from TPF. I suppose they could have changed
it since the early games.

Agreed that Pro is faster, but Prem/LE's are still very very fast
(relative to a lot of other pins).

Biggest difference for me in the time I got to play Prem/LE vs. the Pro
is the swinging bell (plus sound) mechanism. No video will do it
justice -- must experience in person.

I'm with you -- for now -- on the lower playfield. Perhaps it will grow
on me.
And hey, at least it's not another Ironhide mini-playfield, right?

Slap the LE bell on the pro and it would instantly make Pro the better
game. Heck right now I enjoy the pro much more as is.

Hopefully the RGB LED's make up for the difference, but considering
the Super Spinner and Super Pops additions on TF and how the lower PF
has mirrored the lack of gameplay found on TF's mini-pf--Can we really
expect them to be anything special?

Yes the window is cleared over. The cloudiness issue is resolved. It
was a chemical reaction that has been corrected. Steve said later rules
should incorporate the ball being in play on both PF's. I believe that
was from the Retrogaming Roundup interview, but it could have been some
other source.
