"Dear Dundee:
I just got killed a few nights ago by an exploiut useing poisioned
blades and fields inside a town. I Just want this vicious killer to
know what I have to go through, and perhaps this will convince him to
stop his murderous ways.
I've been a shopkeeper for a long time now. Before a few years ago, I
used to have a pretty nice job. I would sell some shirts, a dress or
two and pants. Eventually I made enough to start a nice buisness in
town. Then all hell seemed to break lose. I made the mistake of
setting up a loom in my shop and sold thread for an outrageously
inexpensive price. It seemed like it would be a nice service for my
customers.
What happned, I never expected. I'll sell some wandering adventurer
some thread, and he would just sit there for hours making shirt after
fancy shirt. It would be great if I had anyone who wanted to buy these
shirts, but I never could possible sell as many as they make.
Now I'm a nice guy, but have they ever looked at the population of
Sossaria? I probally buy at least 300 shirts a day. Even if everyone in
the land purchased a new shirt everyday, I still wouldn't make a
profit. Now some of those tailors are good people, they keep the
population safe from monsters and birds so I try to help out, but WTF!!
Haven't they ever studied economics?
It's not like Lord British ever helps us out at all. Does he ever send
tax xcollectors after these adventurers? Not bloodt likley. They make 2
or 3k an hour of of my genorosity.
The damn tailors aren't even polite. I mean, they come in screaming
"VENDOR SELL ME A BANK SO I CAN BE A GUARD" and expect me to understand
them. I try to oblige and not look at them wrong, but what am I
supposed to do?
So the other night I finally get upset and tell a player that I cannot
afford any other adventurers. What do they do but whip out a poisioned
blade. I call the guards, and the person dies, but there I am
poisioned. DD, why don't you make cities safe for us law abiding,
allways blue, NPCS!?
I then find out that a so-called blue named Dundee and this Shade woman
"made" this guy do it.
That's it....I'm going to become a beggar. I hope I don't get any of
those books with silly names."
Wish these people would adress the messages to the proper people..sick
of forwarding them.

Thanks for this.
But I don't think this was me. See:
>Now I'm a nice guy, but have they ever looked at the population of
Both of the NPCs in the tailorshop that I whacked were female.
(yes, "both" - we whacked another one last night for her cool black
sandals).
