It looks like 'slick's' wet nightmare has something in common with his demigod.

'Ocasio-Cortez also seems to be generating the same asymmetric intensity in public opinion as the President. Her strongly unfavorable rating was 18 points higher than her strongly favorable rating in the Fox News poll. Trump's strongly unfavorable rating was 16 points higher than his strongly favorable rating in the same poll.'

She is obviously not writing her own material. When she stays on script shes pretty good at selling some crazy ideas. But when she goes off script she shows her true lack of knowledge about pretty much any topic.

In this case, it looks like Congressional Republicans and Wilbur Ross have a true lack of knowledge of a subject which is exactly their responsibility to have knowledge of.

I will stand corrected if any evidence is presented which shows AOC's assertion to be incorrect.

And what's up with hideous Wilbur Ross saying he feels no need to respond to a Congressional representative in a Congressional hearing? And who the hell botched his embalming? A profound illustration of how desperate Donald Trump is to get ANYONE to work for him.

I believe they knew that the census question had to be reviewed by
Congress, and that it would be rejected. That's why they tried to slip
it through.

The problem with counting illegals is apportionment. Count em, but don't apply their numbers to apportionment.

Counting undocumented immigrants in the census undermines the fundamental principle of American representative democracy that every voter has an equal voice. Through the census-based process of apportionment, states with large numbers of undocumented aliens will unconstitutionally gain members in the U.S. House of Representatives, thus robbing the citizen-voters in other states of their rightful representation.

In addition, an inflated population count resulting from the inclusion of undocumented immigrants would increase the number of votes some states get in the electoral college system, the process by which the president is elected.

In short, including undocumented immigrants in the census count will unjustly bestow additional political power in states where lax enforcement of immigration laws attract large populations of undocumented aliens.

For one thing, disabuse yourself of any notion of "equal representation"
in your government. California and Wyoming have the same number of
Senators, and thanks to that throwback to the days of slavery, the
Electoral College system, the US system is anything but representative.

Most non-citizen residents are not illegal aliens, they are in the
country under some kind of visa.

And besides, the law states that changes to the census must be approved
by Congress. Not liking the way the census is conducted is not an
acceptable or legal reason to just change it. Wilbur Ross got caught
with his hand in the cookie jar, and his reaction showed that he knew it.

After a little research the answer to that is "NO". Citizenship questions were included in the Census from 1820 to 1950.

It's always strange to me the people who think people who are here illegally should somehow be protected and coddled

I think the comrades put some roofie in your plum wine.

The present system helps ensure that the small states run roughshod over the bigger, more economically productive states. The larger states pay taxes through the nose while the small, welfare nobility states devour it.

Don't be a dick. A legal non-citizen pays taxes, more than citizens in shithole states, and they deserve government services.

Your entire premise is nonsense. An illegal alien is not going to complete a census questionnaire and return it. And that's assuming that the Census Bureau knows they are there and where they can be reached by mail which is an entirely false assumption.

And it isn't illegal to be a non-citizen. Citizenship is a privilege, not a requirement. Are there public schools in Texas where a child might learn basics like this or is every child schooled by Pastor Bob?

Illegal immigrants are attracted by jobs not lax enforcement of immigration laws. Commonsense would tell you that ICE is far more active in California than they are in Wyoming.

No one is talking about people here legally, even though the should not count towards apportionment either. If they are here legally they have nothing to fear, but the have no right to be represented in our government.

California could have 53 million representatives, it would not help
since many critical powers lie solely with the Senate, including the
ability to block legislation. Two Senators representing 200,000 people
can cancel out two who represent 50 million.

Ha ha ha.

Can't imagine how many independent voters are running away from any thoughts of voting for a Democrat after seeing this total air head in action.

In a committee hearing, she asked an oil executive about a pipeline that doesn't even exist, but she thought it did, and it wasn't even the company that has anything to do with it. When he corrected Costco, she said, "oh," and started reading over her staff's script that was, there, before her. She asked all her questions while visibly and obviously reading right from these notes; her weak, tentative voice playing-off yet punctuating her gaff-staccato like a full, orchestral refrain.

As contemptible as she is with her non-stop race-baiting, it was funny; she's quickly becoming the class clown, and soon, even other Democrats will no longer pretend to take her seriously. Her, no doubt handpicked staff, is obviously a clown car if they (Costco's staff) can't even prop-her-up for asking a few simple questions.

At least Ted Kennedy knew he knew nothing and hired the largest, most expensive staff in history; assured that his drinking would remain uninterrupted. My apologies to the ghost of Fat Boy, as he was a genius compared to Costco.

It was a subjective statement. Trump can't sell a written script, in my
opinion. He sounds wooden and contrived. You can tell he doesn't believe
in what he's reading. When he's riffing to a crowd of supporters he
comes off as sincere, even though very little of what he says stands up
to fact-checking. People like you don't care. The list is endless,
"Mexico is going to pay for it", "You'll have better health care for
less", are the two early ones where he sounded sincere but was just 100%
full of shit, but there are at least a dozen new ones every day.

The college admissions scandal was timed perfectly: everyone glanced in Costco's direction (chortle).

And I think you'll find that she'll end-up being a gift that keeps on giving for "the right." Look what the Cavanaugh hearings did to the Democrats' image.

Between that hearing and the State of the Union Speech, Trump spiked into a permanent high 40's to low 50s plateau; and it's due to independent voters going to Trump; he really can't get any higher with Republican voters: maxed-out. Costco will be a daily reminder to independents of why they don't want to vote-Democrat.

Please assist Dutchie in posting YouTube videos of her "brilliant" hearings performances (chortle).

It's "Kavanaugh" Mr Well-Read, and what those hearings demonstrated was
that the once-proud GOP, the party of principle, is finished. It has
become the party of any means to an end.

The only question that remains is whether or not your country will
continue to follow Donald Trump down into this amoral cesspool, or does
your Constitution give it the resilience to bounce back? Either way, it
will be historic, if trump is re-elected that will likely spell the end
of your Democratic Republic as you know it. If he loses, the rebound may
well propel you into a new age of true greatness.

No, no, not like "all politicians," like no one ever before in stumbling through prepared questions of which she couldn't get out a complete sentence at a time without stopping and scowling-down at the notes; which were obviously researched by idiots.

Talk about "the best you can do." Your petulant attempt at trying to defend this irritating fraud is failing, miserably (chortle).

I don't give a shit about any of that. Just watch her asking questions
in hearings and you can't help but be impressed with her preparedness
and command of the facts. Unless one is a brain-dead Trump supporter
like you.

Illegal aliens have always been deported. Why don't you explain how they're being 'coddled' since it is apparently a major source of unhappiness for you.

In short, reading your above comments confirms that you are senile and incapable of logical thought. In addition to being a dick. Remember a few posts up when I tried to remind you to not be a dick?
