"The political breakdown in Sacramento is threatening jobs, our schools and
the state's credit rating, which is the worst in the country. Our state is
in serious trouble and the next governor must have the preparation, the
knowledge and the know-how to get California working again. That is what I
offer and that's why I'm declaring my candidacy for governor."
I think people have to ask him.
Is he a fiscal Conservative and a social Liberal like Ahhnold is?
Only if he answers that question, can the voters in California know
which way to vote.
All Californians know the answer to that question, numbnutz!
hanks
All Californians?
Hey Genius.
I'm not a Californian.
What's the answer?
(Inquiring minds want to know)
He picked the wrong day (the day they found Chelsea King's body) to enter
the race. The worst crime statistics in the history of CA were during the
years the hippy was governor. He is soft on all crime, especially
murderers and rapists. Remember Rose Bird? Old Jerry doesn't have a
prayer to win. Meg Whitman is now a shoo-in.

What California desperately needs is a strong, tough, fiscal conservative
who is /she also needs to be a person who is willing to tell the liberal
Democrats in the state to go fuck themselves and if that means the new
Governor is limited to one term, then so be it. Arnold was never a strong
enough conservative and he allowed himself to get side tracked in the
lunatic liberal left's social issues and took his eye off the financial
ball. OTOH, Jerry Brown is the last thing California needs.

Not me, pal. I'm as rightie as they come, and I was puking over Arnold from
day one he entered the race. This rightie has done his homework, and I
squawked to whoever would listen, that Arnold was a big fat phony, just like
Bush. No sir, this rightie never voted for Arnold, nor Bush, nor Bush Sr.
Popinjay is no fool. I voted for McClintock.

Yeah, we remember. I even voted for the idiot. You don't have to bring
that shit up.

How many movie stars have run for, and been elected, governor of California?
It's like the movies: "He's good looking and reads speeches (others wrote)
well. He must be smart."
Voters are not necessarily smart. And California hasn't cornered the market
on stupid. The country voted Ronald Reagan President.

"Needed." I was instrumental in changing a number of rules and a state law.
Led the fight to defeat a proposition in Washington State, too. I liked what
I saw in Montana.

I'm a taxpayer.
The way it is starting to look, we will have to do a bailout for
Caleeforniai.
That's with my money, and yours too even if you don't pay any taxes
right now.
(It would be a drain on the SS fund)
Let Jerry Brown speak up for himself if he doesn't want any labeling.
Let's find out if his nickname of "Governor moonbeam" is not true any
more.
Links please? I doubt we agree on any law changes.
The expression starts "Just what Oregon needs ..."
Of course it will be Jerry. Fiscal conservative, social liberal (but
not _too_ liberal), multiple decades of experience. Not only will he
be elected easily, but he will do a good job.
Meg, on the other hand, thinks that creating jobs in the state of
California is just like creating jobs at EBay.

Omfg! Y'see? This is why a lot of people get mad at me on RGP because I
call so many people a bunch of stupid mutherfuckers but what else am I
supposed to say when some stupid mutherfucker says something as fucking
stupid as this?
I would argue with this, Paul, but I don't want to hurt your feelings
again. Most people don't know how sensitive you are, but I do.

Whitman and the vintage moonbat are tied in the polls.
However, Whitman has a better "very favorable"/"very unfavorable" ratio
than the aging moonbat.
Also, whitman has come from behind, initially, to close the gap to even
with Jerry Brown. This could suggest two things: 1) Brown peaks on
announcing/(impending) his candidacy (a bad sign for him) due to name
recognition. And, 2) after voter consideration of the choices, Whitman
leads in the "monentum" department (an excellent sign for her).
Republican advantage: the bad political environment for Democrats,
generally. L.ow Democrat voter turnout expectatations, and the energized
independent vote favoring Republicans.
Republican disdvantages: blue state, the strong women's vote for
Democrats in California (Whitman, as a woman candidate, may lessen the
effect) and Ahhnold (but everyone knows Ahhnold isn't a real Republican,
anyway).
They both poll pretty well, but without hitting 50%, this is a negative
for Brown (considering his background in California politics). Also, the
idea of Jerry Brown as governor doesn't exactly scream "change!" from
the status quo.
Prediction: Whitman wins with the independent vote/turnout. If it was a
political verteran like Jerry Browns' time to win, he'd be considerably
ahead; at this point, especially.
Here are the latest polls of "likely voters."
http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/elections2/election_2010/election_2010_governor_elections/california/election_2010_california_governor
Of course she leads in the "momentum" department - she has spend
millions of dollars on advertising. "You should elect me governor
because I created thousands of jobs at EBay, and running the state of
California is just exactly like running EBay." Poizner doesn't stand
a chance.
Brown, of course, is going to wait until he actually has an opponent
before he worries about "momentum".

And political ads are part of what's called, uh, campaigning? Perhaps
you've heard of it.
You really shouldn't be posting about politics, Bobtard. Stick to
renting tents.

No, it appears that Poizner is in for the long haul.

Yes. Now, how many gubernatorial candidates start spending millions
of dollars on advertising a year before the election?

I see that once again the technological challenge of actually quoting
my post in your reply has eluded you. Perhaps you should learn to use

P.S. No matter how much you hint, I am never sharing a tent with you.

They're doing it all over the country, moron. You don't know what you're

win. Like I say, you shouldn't even be posting about politics, you're

When Jerry Brown loses, you can invite him on one of your gay safaris.
