Even an empty bag is irresistible to some.

http://tinypic.com/r/2dh5i5z/5

I just put the garbage outside the door for a little
bit. It can stay out there all night, now. I don't smell
anything ... yet. But this skunk is not afraid of me, the
cat, nothin'.

Which is worrisome by itself.

Where do you find cheese waffies? I haven't seen any for years.

(laugh) That's okay, I haven't seen a skunk in years.

There is a supermarket that carries them occasionally, and every
time I go there, I check for them. I grabbed three bags last time,
this was the last one.

I was thinking of asking if they'd order a case for me, but it
seems so ridiculous. I don't know why I find the things so
addicting. They were especially good this time, too.

In article
<957ede66-a9d0-44a2...@lr6g2000pbb.googlegroups.com>,
I find them (rarely) in Big Lots stores in the bay area.

Other wise products too, but it's Cheese Waffies I really look for.

Of course, normally I put the garbage into the can and wheel it out
to the street. This time I got the garbage together with the idea
I'd take it out after the movie, and it had cat 'stuff' in it so I
put it outside the door. Just for a while. Heh.

I knew we had a skunk because it's been leaving holes in our lawn.
Never saw it, though. Hello. Turns out there were leftover
Chinese ribs (homemade, they turned out pretty well!) and those
suckers are stripped like they were cleaned by piranha.

The shipping is painful when I consider I should just ask at

I really don't know why they are in the stores so sporadically. I
don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing, like do I really
want and In n Out Burger location nearby? Yes ... but no, it would
not be good for me.

I don't think so, as a rule. They are nocturnal and you really never
see them. Otherwise known as polecats, and you usually only know
they are around if a car hits them, then the stink lingers for a couple
of days.

The only other time I've seen one on my property, it was rabid. This
is not good. I finally got animal control to come take it away.
They don't bother people for the most part and if you see one in the
daytime, it's a bad sign.

I can't leave garbage on the deck, either. We get racoons, opossums,
and the occasional bear, if I do. The last time, I shooed off a
racoon, it looked back over its should and gave me a look like. "I'll
get you for that, sucker!". Big brut, too. Hadda be close to 20
lbs.

Don't need to see 'em! You can smell if they've been within 50 ft in
the last hour. We usta have 'em in downtown Livermore, even more so
than here in the Rockies. If you see one and it stands its ground or
acts aggressive, it may be rabid. Beware. Better yet, run! I always

I worked with a woman who had family in Chicago. When they'd visit her

chips to me.

I'm a sucker fer a good potato chip. Love Lay's kettle chips, despite
icky GMO canola oil. They've got a new one out, sriracha flavored, and
they're excellent. I noticed they were kinda sweet, which I've never
noticed of sriracha (rooster brand) before. So, I started dipping my
pork rinds in straight sriracha sauce, and sure enough, sweet!

I can now proceed with my strict low carb diet. Pork rinds with
sriracha (0 carb). Yum!

This one put his tail up and I was like, Don't Spray! The
garbage is all yours!! It didn't spray, no smell. It had no
fear of me except it was like Back Off, these ribs are mine!
I put my camera on discreet and took a bunch of pictures, the
skunk didn't care.

Meanwhile, my cat seems well acquainted with it, I didn't know
who she's been watching out the door every night. She brings
toys to the door. Neither one of them were afraid of the other.

You'd think that's what stores do, restock items that sell fast.

If I was much more East, I'd be standing in the Atlantic Ocean. I
did look to see if they are sold online, I didn't see them. Only the
Wise brand.

Years ago I only knew of the Old London brand. I bought the last box
from my supermarket and mailed it to someone on this newsgroup. I
didn't know that actually WAS the last box, forever.

I'm sure she wants a case of cheez waffles so she can attract more
skunks while they're watching a movie. Cleaning up the mess gives them
something to do. Tee hee! As if they didn't have enough to deal with

I grew up in Nebraska, I remember potato chips being delivered in
cardboard "cans". For the life of me I can't remember the name of
them. Who cares? I'm rambling, sorry. This subject interests me for

I entered it repeatedly but sadly someone else always came along and picked
my same flavor.

Daughter bought the chicken and waffles. Took one bite and no more.

My favorite are the Limon. But... I'm not a big potato chip lover. I'll
want them, then eat 2-3 and not want any more. Usually I can finish a bag
before they'll expire but I certainly don't wolf them down like some people
do. And nobody else in this house likes that kind.
