Why is Obama black, not white?

I have wondered since Mr. Obama broke onto the national scene
why both he and the media have always characterized him racially
as black and not as biracial or white. Why did he decide to pick
one race – he is indisputably half black and half white? I would
think he would wish to be considered biracial or some other
similar term of his choosing to honor and recognize both his
parents’ heritage. Perhaps his reason is cultural, that a child
should take the father’s name, race, etc. He should not be black
culturally, he frequently mentions his mother who was white and
how she and his grandmother struggled and sacrificed to raise
him, and made him who he is today. His father who was African
and black left he and his mother when Obama was very young, and
by his own admission was not much of a factor in his life. His
referring to himself as black seems to me to either ignore his
white mother’s and grandmother’s contributions to his life and
success at best, or disrespects his mother and grandmother at
worst. Having said that, I am sure that that is not his intent.
Perhaps his reason is for political expediency – a gutsy
calculation that America might be ready someday, and maybe even
eager, to elect minority national political leaders, including
its first black president.

Mr. Obama has recently discussed race and various racial issues
facing this country (to his credit). And yes, I realize that
even if Mr. Obama were himself to answer my question, that would
still leave unsolved all the various racial issues this country
and its people face.

I’m sure some readers of this racecard will be curious about my
background. I am white. Politically, I am an Independent. I am
not prejudiced against any race or ethnicity. And I voted for
Obama twice for President.

Barack Hussein Obama is not half black. He
is the first
Arab-American President, not the first black President. Barack
Hussein
Obama is 50% Caucasian from his mother's side and 43.75% Arabic
and
6.25%
African Negro from his father's side.

While Barack Hussein
Obama's father was from Kenya , his father's family
was mainly Arabs.. Barack
Hussein Obama's father was only 12.5% African
Negro and 87.5% Arab (his
father's birth certificate even states he's
Arab, not African Negro).

This is because of Obama is not and never was a United States
citizen he just knows how to scam the people that cannot think
for themselves it's hard to imagine there are so many stupid
people living in America that are dumb enough to vote for
someone only because of the color of his or her skin, as for
Obama's college credentials it doesn't take that much for people
with millions of dollars at their disposal that want Obama in
the White House to fake anything that may be needed for them to
get this white man in the White House and all because the greedy
American does not have enough billions of dollars already. For
those that voted for this non-citizen to become the president I
would like to know how do you feel now knowing you're an idiot
that helped overthrow the US government

Before THAT though...how did he even get on the ballot for
(those who voted for him) eligibility to be voted FOR? When he
couldn't or wouldn't produce that birth certificate, that's as
far as his eligibility should have gone. When I went to work for
the STATE, I had to provide a birth certificate or I didn't get
the job...period, paragraph! But for the HIGHEST position in the
FEDERAL government, no such requirement exists? Bizarre and
STILL unacceptable that he even got to run on the ballot.

In an article unearthed by the Politico web site, Obama, as the
president of the Harvard Law Review, wrote an unsigned article
touting abortion.

The web site says the article comes in at six pages and is
contained in the third volume of the 1990 Harvard Law Review.

In the work, Obama considered a parenthetical abortion issue —
whether unborn children have a legal right to sue their mothers
for damage sustained during pregnancy, from such things as
alcohol or illegal drugs.

I'm not following anyone owl. I see perfectly fine too. And I
can see that you're nowhere near as intelligent as I am. But I
don't want to fight about it. That's what non-educated folks
like you do. By the way, Barack Obama was elected to the
position by people who are more educated than you and I put
together.

Did you go to Columbia and Harvard? I'm pretty sure President
Obama is more educated than you are. But in reality, there are a
lot of educated people who don't have any common sense. And
there are a lot of uneducated people who are highly intelligent.

" There are no articles written by Barack Obama in the H
Harvard Law Review. Goes hand-in-hand with running it. "
- Proof you know nothing about publishing AND proof you either
never attended or graduated from law school as you implied.

Yet you don't know what bye means? So small words are difficult
for you because of your university education? Barack Obama knows
quite a bit more about the Harvard Law Review than you do. You
do realize that he actually went to Harvard, right? You on the
other hand, went to an old school in England that you won't even
name. The simple fact that you brought up his race and where he
was born tells me a lot about you, and explains a lot to me.

I'm just trying to get a rise out of you owl. It's pretty easy
to do. Don't take it too seriously, you're going to have a
stroke or something. I don't know if you're a nice person, or a
smart person. I don't really care.

Debbie: You have certainly proved that you are an arrogant
ignoramus. Was that your intention? I just happened by this
article and saw (quite clearly) what a loud fool you are. "Owl"
makes solid arguments and you respond like an irrational teenage
girl. Haha this was great for a laugh. Thanks for that, Deb.
Enjoy your daytime TV.

I guess it just wasn't important. You might want to get familiar
with the clinic, dementia might be hereditary. None of that in
my family.
