President Trump took to Twitter to slam former FBI Director
James Comey Friday morning, calling him a "leaker [and] liar"
who botched the Hillary Clinton email investigation.

The president was reacting to the first clips of Comey's ABC
News interview - which will air in full Sunday morning ahead of
the release of his new book.

@realDonaldTrump
James Comey is a proven LEAKER & LIAR. Virtually everyone in
Washington thought he should be fired for the terrible job he
did-until he was, in fact, fired. He leaked CLASSIFIED
information, for which he should be prosecuted. He lied to
Congress under OATH. He is a weak and.....

....untruthful slime ball who was, as time has proven, a
terrible Director of the FBI. His handling of the Crooked
Hillary Clinton case, and the events surrounding it, will go
down as one of the worst “botch jobs” of history. It was my
great honor to fire James Comey!

In the interview and in just-released excerpts from the book,
Comey compares Trump to a mob boss and accuses him of being
unconcerned with Russia's election interference. He recalled
Trump requesting that the FBI investigate salacious allegations
about his actions with Russian prostitutes.

"It bothered [President Trump] if there was 'even a one percent
chance' his wife, Melania, thought it was true," Comey wrote,
according to the New York Post.

"In what kind of marriage, to what kind of man, does a spouse
conclude there is only a 99 percent chance her husband didn’t do
that?" Comey asked, expressing the same sentiment to George
Stephanopoulos.

Fox News weekend anchor Steve Hilton reacted Friday to the back-
and-forth, saying there is a strong reason to suspect federal
crimes were committed by Comey.

He said on "Fox & Friends" a lot of people will agree with
Trump's tweets about Comey and the mainstream media will not
push back on his actions during the book tour.

Hilton - "The Trial of James Comey" - Sunday at 9:00pm ET on Fox
