To Honor Harriet Tubman, Ben Carson Suggests Something So Stupid Fox
News Was Shocked

Perhaps trying to outdo Donald Trump’s “7/11” comment from yesterday, in
an interview with FOX Business’s Neil Cavuto, failed presidential
candidate Ben Carson made a pretty ridiculous statement involving
Harriet Tubman and a piece of money that is no longer in use.

Carson first argued that Andrew Jackson was an incredible and admirable
US president. There has been talk recently of replacing Jackson, whose
picture resides on the $20 bill, with Harriet Tubman. As if it’s not
bad enough that Carson is defending a president who is known to have
been a supporter of both slavery and the deportation of Cherokees on the
Trail of Tears, he went on to say that Harriet Tubman does not belong on
the $20 bill in place of Jackson. He then suggested that perhaps she
could have a place on the $2 bill.

The $2 bill was last issued in 2003. Has Carson been napping for the
last 13 years and missed that?

The more I hear from the Republican wannabes and former wannabes, the
more I fear for the future of this country. What the hell is the matter
with Carson? And Ted Cruz and Bobby Jindal sound even crazier. Carson
comes across like a male Sarah Palin.

Hey Harry, Obama got a Nobel peace prize for doing nothing but getting elected. So I think they ought to put his face on mt. Rushmore in place of Theo.

Makes about as much sense...

Besides, what do you care what Carson says or thinks. He's not running for president anymore...

I am not surprised they put her on the twenty. People have been pissed
about Jackson for years, mostly indians. This was a win win for
liberals. It might also be because Jackson was the only president in
history who actually paid off the national debt. That is blasphemy for
big government people.
He did win a decisive victory over the british in NOLA ... even if the
war was actually over at the time.

Paper money needs presidents. Otherwise the statement "I want lots of
portraits of dead presidents" dies an ignoble death.

Interesting to hear this. We've had a vocal group clammering for a woman on our 'paper' money also (actually polymer for the last while). I imagine we'll se it under this Liberal Gov't. BTW..we've only had one female prime minister, and she didn't leave much of a mark except for her gender.

We are well on the way to electing someone like that right now.

Maybe we should put Palin on the 20. She is certainly the most
influential woman in the last 7 - 8 years.
People like Harry can't go a day without bringing her up.

Palin played a major role in turning the GOP into the party of
obstreperous teabaggin' dumb shits, and I think it appropriate to give
her credit for her contributions.

So putting her on currency may not be a bad idea? After all what we
call money is just a love letter from the federal reserve,
representing nothing but the paper it is printed on and a promise that
someone will take it.
As of the other day, it was pointed out that the fed created $4.5
Trillion out of thin air to prop up the economy since 2008.
That accounts for 200% of the "growth" we have had in that period.
We printed 4.5 trillion, injected it into the economy and that only
showed up as 2.7 trillion on the bottom line. Typical government
operation. Lose half of your investment and call it a success.

You do make one good point. If the GOP had a luke warm candidate
running it would be easy to run against the last 8 years but they have
nothing going right now.

I wouldn't vote for him, but Mitt Romney sure is several rungs up the
evolutionary ladder from the three assholes still in the GOP POTUS
nomination race.

I'm really hoping Trump gets the nomination. He'll insult Hillary and
then she and her minions will eviscerate him, especially in debates
where his intellectual laziness and lack of knowledge will be readily
apparent.

"Your husband Bill was a skirt chaser..."

"Yeah, your third wife liked that about him when she agreed to pose
naked for him after their weekend in the NoTell Motel..."

Next.

Why? Because you are a racist? That is a given. Lot of you very liberal
liberals are extremely racist, you do not believe those people can exist
on their own. Require an invasive government for them to survive.

Uh, Bilious...what comments do you think I've made that are insulting
to, say, blacks, asians, latinos, et cetera, because of their skin color
or ethnicity? Please be specific. I have said that I think Ben Carson
isn't playing with a full deck, but my lack of belief in his
intellectual capabilities has nothing to do with his skin color.

Yup another lie is right up Hillary's alley.
If that is all she has, Trump will win.

BTW Trumps wives are far to skinny for Bill. He seems to like them big
and not that pretty, zeroing in on women with low self esteem.
