An Unusual news story

An unusual story appeared on the front page of yesterday's paper. A
car critically injured a bike rider Sunday night, and not only were
factors relevant to the cause of the crash mentioned, the word
"helmet" did not once appear. Perhaps this happened because a police
sergeant wrote the story.

Sadly, today's news says that the young man died of his injuries
yesterday.
