The Walking Dead Marathon
Maybe you’ve been meaning to check out “The Walking Dead” but haven’t
managed to get around to it sometime in the last six years. AMC is
trying to make it easy for you to catch up with an 88-hour “marathon” of
sorts starting on Sunday, Oct. 16. AMC won’t quite be airing all 88
episodes of “The Walking Dead” in a row. Season 1 and the first half of
Season 2 will air on Sunday, starting at 7 a.m. ET, leading up to a
special two-hour retrospective on the series' acclaimed six seasons at 9 pm.
Throughout the rest of the week, each evening from 6 p.m. through the
wee hours of the morning, the remainder of the 88 episodes will run. The
marathon will conclude with the Season 6 finale and its cliffhanger that
caused at least 14.2 million ulcers, just before the Season 7 premiere
on Oct. 23 at 9/8c.
