I can't tell if she's actually crooked or just playing the long game.
But Tandy actually seems to be making progress

I'm sticking with it, but I really expected more of a traditional super
hero show. I really just don't care about whatever it is they are
investigating.

I watched:
Just Another Immigrant - "The Corden Favor" - Romesh visits his friend
James Corden in an attempt to get on his show and generate ticket sales,
but he once again lies and tells Corden his own show is sold out. This
felt *so* scripted, the way every episode Romesh tells some stupid lie
which then immediately backfires on him.
Good Kill (Netflix rental) Ethan Hawke stars as an air force officer who
would rather be piloting combat jets instead of remotely killing people
with drones. The movie focuses on the emotional toll on him as the
people he is ordered to kill from afar seem to be mostly innocent women
and children who happen to be near people who may or may not be
terrorists. It was OK I guess.
Suburbicon (Netflix rental) This is a hard movie to describe. It's
based off of a Cohen Brothers script and directed by George Clooney. It
stars Matt Damon as a 1950s regular guy, at least on the surface, who
gets caught up in murder and the mob. The movie is played mostly
through the eyes of Damon's young son who realizes his father isn't the
man he thought he was. There's also a subplot about an African American
family that moves into the all White neighborhood which sets the
neighbors off in a really bad way. While the movie is...weird...it did
actually sort of remind me of Pleasantville which I've been meaning to
watch again for a while now. This may prompt me to get to it sooner
rather than later.
Ghostbusters (4k disc) The original classic. Bill Murray and friends
team up to show a Sumerian god how they do things down town. Still holds
up great. However, I thought the image quality on the disc was hit or
miss. Some scenes the film really seemed to be showing its' age while
others looked stunning in 4K.
Ghostbusters II (4k disc) The guys reunite for all you can eat steak
night at the sizzler and to battle another would be god determined to
take over New York City. The 4K image quality on this one on the other
hand was perfect throughout the whole movie.
Ghostbusters (3D blu-ray) - 2016 reboot with a new team of Ghostbusters
forming to battle yet another threat to New York. Except this time the
threat is a human who is unleashing ghosts upon the city. I saw this
when it first came out and really liked it then. I still really like
it. I'd rank this as second best in the franchise. Much of the plot of
this could have been reworked to make Ghostbusters II a much better
movie. I like how they heavily imply this is within the same continuity
of the original movies, but it has all been swept under the rug by the
government. And I have to point out the 3D on this disc is reference
quality. Not just in depth but several times ghosts/monsters leapt out
of the TV frame. The quality of the image of ghosts and monsters coming
out of the TV frame is so clear, at one point I rewound the movie back
just so I could see a head come out of my TV screen again.
