There are those who claim who can't draw conclusions about an author based on what they write. I say that's bull. Case in point Theresa Meyers. Just by reading this book I can conclude that Supernatural is one of her favourite television shows and that she enjoys fanfiction about one of the Winchester boys falling in love with a female monster and redeeming her with a blessing from his magic dick.

I'm being harsh. It is true that unlike Supernatual, there are three brothers in a familial monster-hunting tradition and that only one of them is named "Winchester" with the other two named after other firearms brands. Also it's set in 1875 and they have a comical mad scientist to provide them with steampunk paraphernalia. But I can definitely see Supernatural's bootprints on this book. It doesn't help that she actually calls the monsters "supernaturals"

Well, *you* can draw those conclusions because you have some idea
of what "Supernatural" is. I have never heard of it, and would miss
any references entirely should I read that book.

Makes me wonder what else obvious stuff I'm missing..

C. S. Lewis's "Narnia" has Christian tropes
all over it.

Ayn Rand is kind of a nut job.
