There are those who will argue that vehemently. They were both
strongman dictatorships that liked to kill people for no good reason.
Beyond that the ideological differences don't matter.
And the Nazis invaded Russia because they wanted to expand their
empire. They might have used ideology as a justification but it was
really secondary.
