Hello Gang!

Just wondering if anyone knows of any inline P48 PSU bombs I can use with my Lectrosonic transmitters for the rare occasions I use a radio boom - Not often enough to justify buying an RM TX.

There is obviously the one that Audio Ltd make for there transmitters and I assume that boots the 2/4v? from the 6pin Lemo to 48V... Maybe I could buy one of them and change the Lemo for a TA5.

The technology is obviously available in small sizes as Lectro put inside there RM's, but Dean over there wasn't able to help.

I've seen a few PSU designs online, but though best to ask the experts here first!

Thanks,

Henry.

Denecke makes a very good 48v phantom in line supply as does PSC. I have a PSC unit and does the job very well.

Thanks for the reply Eric, but their both a little chunky.

Does anybody know if there is something more like a VDB L-48?

The VDB unit takes 9V from the battery that is directly available at the Audio Ltd Transmitter Lemo. it wont work with Lectros which do not provide the full 9V on the TA5F connector.

you don't have a choice but to use a PSU like Eric suggested, or get a butt plug...
